The book of Revelation is indeed GOD'S SPECIAL BOOK OF BLESSING! In fact, the word Revelation comes from the Greek word ????????????which speaks of an unveiling, uncovering, a revealing!

This final book in the Bible is the unveiling, the uncovering, the revealing of Jesus! Revelation 1.1, "The Revelation of Jesus Christ ...." Page by page, Judgment by judgment, symbol by symbol, Jesus is uncovered! And that uncovering continues this morning in chapter 19.

So join me in chapter 19. Now last Sunday from this same chapter we read about worship in heaven. In that day, we will join all of the saints of all the ages around the throne of God!

And together, we will offer up four alleluia's! The alleluia for Salvation! The alleluia for Settling up! The alleluia for God's Supremacy! The alleluia of God's Sovereignty!

In that day, we will finally understand the full meaning of worshipping "in spirit and in truth." Uninhibited worship!

So we read about the worship that will take place. We then read about the wedding that will be taking place. And of course that was the wedding of the Lamb (Jesus Christ) and His bride (the church of Jesus Christ).

Keep in mind that the bride of Christ is made up of those people who received Jesus and are saved beginning at Pentecost (when the church was born) down through the Rapture (when the church was caught up to be forever with the Lord).

Now if you are saved, you are not yet the bride of Christ. You and the Lord are simply engaged. This is the engagement period. The actual wedding will not take place until the end of those seven years of tribulation and just prior to the second coming of Jesus.
