Revelation 3:14-22
I want to share with you one of the most influential portions of scriptures that the Lord used to change my heart for His better good. The Lord used these scriptures to set my heart on the straight and narrow path of life. He used this portion of scriptures to take me to a new level in my Christian walk. Christ shared with me an idea or a visual that has made it impossible for me to backslide. These scriptures have totally revolutionized my walk with Him to this very day, some twenty-three years later. I can only hope and pray that it will touch you with the measure of power that it has ministered into my heart all these years. For one word from God can change your entire life.
After preaching this sermon to the inmates here in Big Spring, Texas, I can tell you it is having the same impact upon them. I have shared this teaching with many over the years. At one youth group, I did these verses with a visual to bring the word of God to life. The result was that everyone, of the 90 teens came forward to pray to his or her God. That night was powerful and even the ten staff members were on their knees with tears in their eyes. This anointed message can change the hardest of hearts. Are you ready for a true revival within the walls of your own heart? True Godly revivals start within one surrendered heart. If you long or even hunger for a revival, I will tell you it needs to happen first within the walls of your heart. "Let the fire fall Oh Lord! Let the fire fall into my heart!" One inmate explained what happened to him while he heard this message and how he had to repent that very night. Another was stopped dead in his tracks as he was about to sin with just one word whispered in his ear by the Holy Spirit. Are you ready to know what it is?
