What's in it for me? That is what people want to know of just about everything today that they are going to be involved in, if it is a club, if it is a sale, or no matter what it is in life, what is in it for me? What are you going to do for me? What's it going to be worth to me if I get involved in a certain kind of thing? We have been talking about what is in it for me as far as the kingdom of God is concerned. What's in it for me if I serve Jesus Christ, if I truly commit my life to Him and I invest in His kingdom? If I invest my total life, my total self, if I invest my time, my talents, all my resources, what is in it for me? What will I have? And that is what the disciples wanted to know as well.

But you know, God has a tremendous investment program. And in the passages of scripture we are going to read today, we are going to see what a successful investment program it is. It has the greatest interest rate of any investment program that you will ever hear about. And it is compounded daily and it continues to compound even after you are gone and in the next life, it continues to compound to your account until this world comes to an end and you stand before Jesus Christ one day. Jesus said you can send it on ahead. You can't take it with you but you can send it on ahead. And that is what this lesson is about today.

Matthew 6:19-21 "Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break through and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."
