In Revelation 20 and verse 11 we read, "And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; death and hell (death representing the graves and cemeteries of the earth and hell representing the abode of the souls of lost men) delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the fire.

At the Easter Season people are reminded of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. Today I want to remind you of the resurrection of the saved and the unsaved, two great resurrections. The day is coming, according to the statement of God's Holy Words when all the cemeteries shall give up their dead, when every grave shall give up its dead, and men shall stand before God. What a solemn time that is going to be!

My text for this message is Revelation 20, verse 12: "And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God." That is a terrifying text in the light of God's Word and the solemn things of life and death and eternity.

The first truth I want to bring is that EVERY SOUL WITHOUT THE LORD JESUS CHRIST IS LOST, hopelessly lost, helplessly lost, lost, lost, LOST, endlessly, throughout the ages of eternity! It makes no differ-ence whether you are a Jew or a Gentile. It makes no difference whether you are rich or poor. It makes no difference whether you are white or colored. IF YOU ARE WITHOUT THE LORD JESUS, YOU ARE A LOST ...
