"UNTO US A CHILD IS BORN." "UNTO US A SON IS GIVEN." WHO HE IS:
WORLD GOVERNOR - Government of the world on His shoulder.
COUNSELLOR - Telling us the Way to God.
GOD - Almighty in ability to bring God's Plan to pass.
FATHER - looks after those who trust Him as a father looks after his child.
BRINGER OF PEACE - to individuals the peace of salvation, and ultimately peace to the nations when He comes.

Dear Friend of the Radio Evangelistic Hour:
As we approach the Christmas Season of 1966 in the darkest period of the world's history, how brightly shines our hope IN CHRIST! As we think of gifts and giving to others, how wonderful to remember God's Supreme Gift, His Christmas Gift to us, His own Beloved Son, and in Him absolute victory! The true Christian is a realist and possesses not only physical eyes but eyes of the spirit. With our physical eyes we can see the failure of man and of this world, but with our spiritual eyes we can see Him Who is invisible, the Living God, and His victory that He brings about in us and for us. In Psalm 26 the Psalmist presents this tremendous paradox in these words: "My flesh and my heart faileth, but God is the Strength of my heart and my Portion forever."
May we take a look at this realistic picture together? The world picture is dark, very dark. War clouds hang over our heads, the threat of nuclear war. Our boys are dying in Viet Nam at an increasing and alarming rate every day. Sin is abounding on every hand. Morals are being thrown to the winds. Immorality and obscenity are being received in the minds of millions through mass propaganda of newspapers and paper-back books, television, radio, movies. The younger generation is leaving God out of their thoughts and plans. The churches are in an apostate, backslidden, and (in many instances) lost condition. There is little evidence of God' ...
