This morning I want to invite your attention to Genesis 24:1-4. This is the third in the series of messages on "How To Turn Your Dreams Into Reality", how to make faith real and work in your life. Everything that is now was once impossible. Everything that we see is a result of the faith of someone. The Bible says without faith it is impossible to please God. Genesis 24 is the story of how Abraham sent his servant Eliezer to find a bride for his son, Isaac. And it was important that Isaac find the proper bride because Isaac was the heir through which one day, the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ would come. And yet, he had not found a bride. And if you look at this story as typology, then Abraham is a type of God the Father and Eliezer his servant is a type of the Holy Spirit who goes out to find the bride, and Rebekah the bride is a type of the church, the Lord Jesus Christ. And of course, Isaac is a type of Christ Himself, who receives his bride.

Now this morning what I want to do is share from this story seven secrets of success. Whether we are talking about building a marriage, building a life, building a home, building a church, turning your dreams into reality. And there is a process that the Bible shows us in this beautiful and unusual story of Isaac being a man that God had chosen to be the one through whom Christ would come and the servant of Abraham going into a country to find a girl he had never met. And to convince her to come to a land she had never been to and marry a young man that she had never seen. I wonder how many of you young ladies would marry someone and commit yourself to marry someone that you had never laid eyes on? That is exactly what we have in this passage of scripture. So it is an unusual story indeed. And as you look at Abraham's servant Eliezer, you find how he was successful in going to that lan ...
