The Eight Stages of Armageddon

Today, we are going to talk about the eight stages of Armageddon; actually we are talking about the war of Armageddon. We are teaching the Bible background of how Dr. LaHaye wrote his novel, what the Bible background was and how he came up with background for his story, how the things that were happening in the world. He took his characters and he set them against the future events that the Bible foretells. And we are looking at the Bible material that he has taken that foretells these events. And it is very, very interesting to see how he has placed characters and stories of how people may react and how people may act during the tribulation time, during the time when the Battle of Armageddon begins to take place.
So, if you are a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ today, you know Him as your Savior, you can take comfort in the fact that you won't be on this earth. During all of this time, you will be in heaven, you will be with the Lord and you will be at the marriage supper of the Lamb, you will be rejoicing in heaven with the Lord, so none of this will concern you and you will be coming back with the Lord at the conclusion of the Battle of Armageddon, at the glorious appearing of Christ. But at the same time you are concerned because you have loved ones, I have loved ones, we have friends, and we are concerned about these end times and about how the world is moving toward these events and how we see things shaping up for the Battle of Armageddon. How we see all the prophecies that are coming to pass.
Now we call this "The Cosmic Battle of the Ages". Cosmic relates to 'cosmos'. Understand that all of Bible history relates to the universe. We call the universe the cosmos. It means the world, the world that we know and all that takes place in it. Not just the earth, but in all the air and all the atmosphere around the earth. The cos ...
