I want to read from Revelation chapter 20. I announced that I was going to speak today on the subject of ''What The Bible Teaches About The Place Called Hell.'' And that is the first thing that it teaches, it teaches that it is a place. It is not an isolation, it is not just ceasing to exist, it is not just a state of existence, but it is a real literal place created by God for the devil and for his angels, but that is not all who will be there.
Revelation 20:10, I love this verse because it tells the end of the one who is responsible for all the heartache, all the sorrow, all the suffering, all the difficulty, all the trouble, all the war, all the famine, and all the poverty in this world. His name is Satan or the devil.
Now, when you begin to talk about hell today, in modern man, there will always be those who scoff in disbelief. There will be some who even laugh. But you here, you can laugh your way into hell, but you can never laugh your way out. You may not believe in hell, but disbelief in hell, has never kept anybody from ending up in hell and it will never keep anybody out of the lake of fire.
We don't like to think about the idea of hell. Thinking about the idea of a place where men will fall forever, where they will be tormented forever, where they will burn forever, where they will be separated forever, is like thinking about the idea of cancer. I am not in favor of cancer, I didn't vote on that either, but I want to tell, whether I like cancer or not, does not do away with it's reality. And you may not believe in hell, but it does not do away with its reality.
