The Coming Outpouring of the Holy Spirit

Joel 2:28-29
Now, friends, if you have your Bibles, turn with me to Joel 2, verse 28 and 29, where God says, "It shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out My Spirit upon all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams and your young men shall see visions, and upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out My Spirit."
THERE WAS AN OUTPOURING of the Holy Spirit upon the 120 in the upper room on the day of Pentecost. There is nothing more wonderful than revival spirit, when God is pouring out His Spirit and coming upon people's hearts. How would you like to have been in Jerusalem„ in that upper room, with the 120, when all of a sudden there came down from heaven the Holy Spirit of God in the form of flaming tongues that sat upon each of them? They started to prophesy. Ecstasy filled their faces. A mighty wind filled Jerusalem, the entire city, and great multitudes gathered together and these 120 absolutely amazed everybody with what they were saying, for THEY WERE ALL FILLED WITH THE SPIRIT OF GOD and GAVE UTTERANCE as the Spirit of God GAVE them utterance. They became witnesses for their God! Oh, I can see it now. And what a wonderful thing it is when the Spirit of God is given right of way in people's hearts, and He is poured out upon people, and revival is the result! God's Presence is real to the people. Beloved, let us not talk about being filled with the Spirit if we do not talk with fire and power! The tongues of the early Christians! The symbol of the early Christians was a tongue of fire. How many of us have tongues of fire today? Let us not talk about being filled with the Spirit unless we are witnessing for the Lord and telling the great things of God. No man, no woman, is filled with the Spirit of God unless they speak and witness for GOD. Jeremiah said, "HIS WORD is a FIRE in my bones." He HAD to speak. He spoke o ...
