If you have your Bibles turn with me to the Book of Amos chapter 7:7, as we're talking about the Christian in a doomed world. I was traveling one time to Knoxville, Tennessee on a plane and a man sat beside me and as we were approaching Knoxville I was looking for an opportunity to speak and witness to him and I said, "You know the day is coming that those mountains are coming down." He said, "What do you mean?" I said, "It's written in the Book of Revelation 16 that God will send an earthquake just before Jesus comes that will level all the mountains of the world to dust. The cities will be destroyed and the islands will disappear." He said, "You're talking about dooms-day, aren't you?" I said, "Yes, that's what it is, dooms-day." "Oh" he said, "The Bible is just written by men." He just wiped it out and in further talking with him, I found out that he didn't believe in Christ, there's no God-man and he didn't believe in the blood atonement, there's no such thing as an atonement for sin. So I said to him, "What about your sins?" He said, "Well I believe if there's a God, He'll treat me alright. Now there's a wiping out of the Bible as the Divine Revelation and Jesus Christ as the Son of God. That man had no Bible, he had no Christ, he's going to die when it comes to die and leaves his wife, his children, his body, and his possessions and friends and everything else. He had to be 60 years of age and he has no God and no Bible, isn't that a very bleak outlook? You'd better believe it. The denial of doomsday just in the human mind, it cannot be, instead of the simple acceptance of the Word of God. Now this boils itself all down to this fact, we must believe the Bible is the Word of God or we cannot go on with God. There is no revelation of God found anywhere but in the Bible as to His heart, His mind, His plans. You know His greatness from creation, you cannot know His heart excep ...
