We're thinking these days about God's Gifts of Grace! For every Christian .. every child of God .. every person who has invited Jesus Christ into their life has at least one gift of grace!
You didn't earn it. You didn't work for it. In fact .. you didn't deserve it. Your grace gift .. your spiritual gift was given to you on the same basis of your salvation: GRACE!
Now somebody asks, "How do you know that every Christian as a grace gift? How do you know I have a spiritual gift?" That's simple: the Bible tells me so! 1 Peter 4.10, "As each one has received a gift (???????), minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God."
And if that isn't enough to convince you .. look if you will to 1 Corinthians 12.11, "But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills."
1 Corinthians 12.7, "But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all." So .. the Bible clearly teaches that if you've been saved .. if you've invited Jesus Christ into your ... that just as we give gifts when babies are born .. you received a baby gift from the Holy Spirit when you were born again!
And God never intended for your gift to go unwrapped .. unopened .. or unused! And yet .. some of you are withholding your gift. You're not using what God's given you to build up the body of Christ!
Others are misusing their gift. The world will pay a lot of money for your spiritual gift! How the Devil enjoys diverting our spiritual gifts away from the church and into the world! Thank God for those who refuse to sell out the world!
Some are misusing their gift. Others are withholding their gift. Some are discovering their gift. And then some are using their gift to build up the body of Christ.
We'll never reach our potential as a church until every member beg ...
