This morning we are concluding our series of messages on The Moral Collapse of America. Now the conclusion is not based on topics but on timing. There are several contributing factors to the moral collapse of America that we've not addressed, so the conclusion is not based on topics, but on timing.

Now for several weeks, we have been addressing some contributing factors to the Moral Collapse of America. The moral foundation that America was built upon is cracking! And if the church of Jesus Christ doesn't start standing up and speaking up and showing up at the voting polls, the foundation we see today that is cracking, will soon crumble and collapse!

You say, "Pastor, these last few Sundays you sound very pessimistic." Well, let me tell you that I am a true optimist! I am a positive person who preaches a positive gospel! The gospel is good news.

I'm like the shoe salesman and his friend who went to Africa to sell shoes. The one salesman wired back to the home office: "No one here wears shoes, we're wasting our time." The other salesman wired back, "I've found a gold mine, everybody here is a potential buyer. Nobody owns a pair of shoes!" I am like that too! I see a glass half full, not half empty! Yes, I am an optimist, but I am also a realist! And being a realist tells me that America is in trouble! Just read the headlines! And these messages on the Moral Collapse of America have been preached from a heavy heart of concern and conviction!

We have talked about Homosexuality, Abortion, Adultery, Pornography, and now this morning, we're thinking about the fifth contributing factor to the moral collapse of America. This fifth factor threatens the work ethic, it preys on the desperation of the poor and its promises are based on a lie! I am talking about Gambling!
