Heaven's Business on Earth -- In Hands of Believers

Psalm 40
In Psalm 40 we have the record of Jesus Christ Himself in which prophetically He says, "I delight to do Thy will, 0 God. Thy law is within My Heart." Jesus loved, from His Heart, TO DO what God wanted Him to do.
It is one thing for us to know the will of God; it is something else for us TO DO it, and WANT to do it! In every area of our lives we are to do the will of God, but let's consider just one area of our lives today. It is a vitally important one to God and to the people of earth and to our own hearts. I refer to the use of our money in the carrying on of heaven's business. Notice, HEAVEN'S BUSINESS ON EARTH.
"Carry on My Business"
In Luke 19:13 Jesus says, "Occupy till I come." The Greek word for OCCUPY means, "carry on His business." So He said literally, "Carry on My business till I come again." Heaven's business is in the hands of the believer, in your hands and my hands. The Lord has no others who can carry on His business but those who really LOVE Him, those who are born again.
It is amazing how much God has to say in the Bible about His will for the believer in USING HIS MONEY to help carry on God's work on this earth. THAT IS WHAT HE MEANS when He says, "Occupy till I come." "Carry on My business till I come again." As we study what the New Testament has to say about the use of money it is a revealing thing, a convicting thing. I pray that God will speak to every heart today, because we are going to REGRET it when we stand in the Presence of the Lord if we do not listen to what God has to say and if we have NOT BEEN FAITHFUL in this matter of the use of money.
