We still rejoice I know in the great victory in the United States in the capture of Saddam Hussein and the impact that is going to have in a positive way upon our American soldiers in Iraq, in the rebuilding of Iraq and hopefully it will discourage many of the insurgents working in Iraq against our troops and the terrorists who are working against our troops and against our efforts. I know there are some who try to make light of the capture of Saddam Hussein, or who try to diminish its importance, but it was extremely important and an extremely significant development in that war.
This lesson is particularly important. There is a great struggle today in this world that terrorism today not in all cases but in most cases is done in the name of religion, done in the name of the holy prophet Muhammad. There is a great warfare going on in the name of Jihad, or a holy war. A war fought to spread the religion of Muhammad and those who commit violent acts in his name, in the name of his religion. I think we have made it clear that salvation cannot be two ways. That all religions are not alike, it can only be one way, there can only be one truth, truth is absolute. One thing has to be true; another thing has to be false. Two plus two can only equal four it cannot equal anything else. Those of us who have a conservative Christian worldview are in the minority. I will confess, in fact, George Barnham, the most popular Christian researcher today, has done much research in the area of asking Christians across the world about their worldview, how they view the world in light of the bible and in light of their faith. And only a small percentage have a conservative Christian world view, that is, they view the world in terms of black and white, they view the world in terms of Christian morality and their faith determines how the view the world, and i ...
