I.THE MAN 2 CHRON. 24:1-2
1These were the divisions of the sons of Aaron: The sons of Aaron were Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar. 2But Nadab and Abihu died before their father did, and they had no sons; so Elezaar and Ithamar served as the priests.
Athaliah killed the Royal Family and unsurped the throne.
Joash was hidden in the temple by his aunt, the wife of Jehoiada, the High priest.
Kept in a bedroom in the temple with a nurse for 6 years.
After 7 years with Athalia - murderous usurper
Jehoiada shows his strength (Ch. 23) Made covenant with commanders of all units. The king's son shall reign as the Lord promised----descendants of David
He took Spears and Large Shields from the temple that had belonged to David and gave them to the Commanders. Stationed all the men. Each with a weapon in his hand. Around the king and near the Altar (Verse 10)
Jehoiada and his sons brought out the king's son and put a Crown on Him (Verse 11) presented him with a copy of the covenant and Proclaimed Him King.
BIBLICAL PRINCIPLES OF GIVING
1.UNIVERSAL"All Gave" 24:10
"All" the officials and ALL the people brought their contributions.
1 Cor. 16:2
2On the first day of every week, each one of you should set aside a sum of money in keeping with his income,
saving it up, so that when I come no collections will have to be made.

2.CHEERFUL "All brought contributions gladly" (10)
2 Cor. 9:7 Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
