Through Prayer
Fred Lowery
2 Chronicles 20

RIGHT NOW:

You have a problem, you live with a problem or you are a problem.

UNFORTUNATELY
We tend to lie and cover our problems. We think we are expected to always be "fine" or that people will think less of us.

TWO MYTHS:

1.If I go to church, sing or teach and give my money then God will protect me fromproblems.
e.g.Like police protection or insurance - for 10% God provides a protective covering over my family.

2.If I trust God and obey Him, then he will remove the problem.

GOD'S WORD SAYS:
1.Do not fret
2.Do not fear
3.Do not worry

"Worry about nothing, pray about everything and that will get you through anything."

4.Do let your heavenly Father help you with your problems

NORMAL QUESTIONS:

1.Why doesn't God answer?

2.Why is God silent?
3.Why do bad things happen to good people?

4.Why hasn't God given me a solution?

VALID QUESTIONS:

1.Am I focusing on God?

2.Am I willing to abide by God's solution no matter what it is?

3.Am I seeking God - intimate relationship?

Usually we have a preconceived idea of what God needs to do and when and how he needs to do it.

e.g.Also worst disease - The disease of Sin.
MARK 2:5
5When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, "Son, your sins are forgiven."

2.DECISION

MARK 1:37-38
37and when they found him, they exclaimed: "Everyone is looking for you!" 38Jesus replied, "Let us go somewhere else - to the nearby villages - so I can preach there also. That is w ...
