BACK TO THE BASICS OF LIFE
Introduction:
Today we will begin a series of messages entitled "The Perfect 10" - Back to the Basics of Life. These messages will center on the demands of God given to Moses on Mount Sinai. Sometimes known as the "Laws of Moses," they are more commonly referred to as The Ten Commandments. We treat them more as the 10 suggestions or 10 possibilities if we feel so inclined. Yet, if we follow these 10 commands, we will greatly enhance our opportunity for success and happiness in a very chaotic world.
I. The awareness of God to our predicament.
A. Unsolvable obstacle.
People were in bondage.
B. Unconquerable opponent.
Pharaoh was in complete control. It took Moses to effect change.
As our present world shudders under misguided and ungodly decisions, we are reminded that there is a path that leads to life.
