Will the Real Faith Please Stand Up
James Merritt
James 2:14-26
Introduction

He is not saved by grace, plus money. He is not saved by grace, plus works. He is saved by grace, plus nothing. The bible says in eph. 2:8-9 ''for by grace you are saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of god, not of works, lest anyone should boast''.

If he lives a good life and does the best he can, and he is sincere, then he can go to heaven. Then there is the way that teaches that a man is simply saved by faith in the lord jesus christ and through simple faith in jesus can he enter the kingdom of god. And then there is the way that teaches that a man is saved by a combination of the two, not only by faith but also by works.

If you are a moslem and follow faithfully the teachings of the koran and-do alt t is said therein, you will go to be with all ut christianity teaches that a man is saved by grace through faith alone. It is not a matter of- being good, it is a matter of trusting in jesus- that makes the difference.
