Introduction
1. 96% of all americans believe in god, and forthe most part, those who do believe in god also believe there is a heaven. But you may believe ingod and believe in heaven, and never go there.
2. If there is a god to believe in and a heavento go to, then i believe the most important questionone will ever answer in this life is: ''do i knowfor sure that when i die i am going to heaven?''
3. Now we are living in an age of uncertainty, andthere are a lot of things that are no longer verycertain and it is impossible to be absolutely certain about everything. I heard about a woman whocame out of a beauty salon and she was met by herneighbor. And her neighbor said, ''why sally, whatin the world have you done to your hair, it looksjust like a wig?'' -she said, ''it is a wig.'' thelady replied, ''well you could have fooled me.''
4. There are some things we cannot be sure of, butthe bible teaches that we can be sure that when wedie we will go to heaven. ''These things i havewritten unto you that you may know that you haveeternal life.1.'' (i john 5:13) t agree with oneman who said, ''i would rather know a few things for -sure than to be sure of a lot of things that ain'tso.'' and if i could only be sure of one thing, iwould be sure that i was going to spend eternity inheaven.
5. I heard about a little fellow that was standingby the side of a road and a man came by who waslost. And the man said to the little boy, ''heysonny, do you know how to get to town?'' the littleboy said, ''no sir, i don't know.''
6. The man said, ''well where is route 20?'' the littleboy said, ''i don't know.'' the man said, ''well wheredoes this road go?'' the little boy said, ''i don'tknow.' the man said, ''well, what is the name of thisstreet?'' the little boy said, ''i don't know.'' theman said with exasperation, ''boy, you don't know any-thing do you?'' the little boy said, ''i know i ain'tlost.'' do ...
