Philip. 2:13, "For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure."

INTRODUCTION:

1. Let me begin by saying, if you are saved; God is working in your life. Even if you are not saved, God is working in your life. He is doing all He can (aside from forcing you) to bring to you a saving knowledge of His Son.

a. 1 Tim. 2:4, "Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth."

2. The title of the message? "Is God working my life?" I want to give you three points this morning - three things we can do, as we seek to discover the answer to this question:

I. Look Around
II. Look Inside
III. Look Up

I. LOOK AROUND

1. There are a lot of things happening around us every single day that have a direct relationship to God's will for our lives. Sometimes things go right over our heads, and we miss what God is doing because we aren't really expecting Him to do anything. But friend, I can tell you, God is working in your life - and we'll see it, if we are even "half-way observant."

2. My little Grandson, Bryce, is sometimes a daydreamer. When he goes into one of his trances, you can wave your hand in front of his face, you can call his name, but for a few moments he doesn't even know you are around. Now, for a grandfather, I can tell you, that really hurts.

a. By the way, how do you think it makes God feel when He's trying to get our attention, and we're daydreaming, or we are so preoccupied we don't notice Him?

Two things we can do, as we look around:

A. Make a list of circumstances

1. God works through circumstances. Let me give you a challenge. When you get home today, write down a list of eventful circumstances that have taken place in your life in the last month. Actually write them down:
