I want to speak to you today, friends, on WHAT
CHRIST EXPECTS OF HIS PEOPLE.

Salvation is by grace, through faith. But so often
we do not bring together the two wonderful truths
that we are not only SAVED, but SAVED TO SERVE.
These two important truths are seen balanced in the
life of the Apostle Paul. Always he was rejoicing in
salvation by faith in Jesus, and faith alone.
Trusting Jesus brings salvation to the heart. But
then, when we are saved, when Christ has really come
into our hearts, we are to SERVE Him, live our lives
for the glory of Christ. We are to do it in the
power of the indwelling Christ.

twelve different statements that reveal to us that
JESUS IN OUR HEART is to be the thing we are to pay
closest attention to. Then we are to be occupied
with His return, His COMING AGAIN. It is love to Him
IN THE HEART that makes this real unto us.

WAIT FOR! The Greek word is a compound word meaning,
"To those who WAIT EXPECTANTLY AND EAGERLY for the
return of the Lord Jesus Christ."

The picture there is of someone you LOVE very
dearly, and they have been away from home and you do
not kno ...
