THE RESURRECTION OF DEAD SOULS

Ephesians 2:4-5
The Resurrection of Dead Souls! Ephesians 2:4, 5. If
you have your Bibles, I would like for you to turn
with me to this statement in God's Word. Paul paints a
picture of every unsaved soul in a powerful portrait
in Ephesians 2:1-3. "You hath He quickened (made
alive) who were DEAD in trespasses and sins, wherein
in time past ye walked, according to the course of
THIS WORLD, according to the prince of the power of
the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children
of DISOBEDIENCE. Among whom also we ALL had our
conversation (our manner of life) in times past, in
the lusts of our flesh, FULFILLING the desires of the
flesh and of the mind, and were by nature the children
of WRATH, even as others."
There is a five-fold picture of every UNSAVED SOUL!
DEAD in trespasses and sins! Walking the course of
THIS WORLD. OBEDIENCE to the prince of the power of
the air (that is, the devil). Fulfilling the desires
of the FLESH and of the MIND (living for SELF and not
for God). And, by nature children of WRATH, a person
upon whom God's wrath is abiding.
God says that JUDGMENT has already been passed upon an
unsaved soul! God gives him a probationary time to
repent. But judgment is already on the books! God's
Word is very plain about it. One who does not believe
on Christ, the wrath of God abides on him, even now.
It is staying upon him. When he works, the wrath of
God is upon him. When he eats his breakfast, the wrath
of God is upon him. When he comes home and kisses his
wife and children and they run to him and hug him, the
wrath of God is upon him. He goes to sleep at night,
and while he is sleeping God's wrath is hanging over
his head. The sentence is already proclaimed.
Let it be clearly understood, my friends, that the
first time that we as sinners intelligently know that
Christ died for us, and that we are sinners, and that
