THE FRUIT OF A RIGHTEOUS MAN IS A TREE OF LIFE

Proverbs 11:30

Friends, I have on my heart a special message today
that I would like to bring you. It is found in the
Word of God in Proverbs 11:30. I hope you will turn
with me to that verse.

"The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he
that winneth souls is wise." Let's translate that,
"The fruit of the righteous man is a tree of life and
he that taketh souls is wise." Or better, "He that is
wise takes lives (souls)."

His Righteousness. Only HIS Righteousness is
acceptable in the eyes of God as far as salvation and
heaven are concerned. We are saved, not through our
own righteousness, but through the Righteousness of
Jesus.

But, my friends, after we are saved there is a
righteousness that God expects of us, a right-living
of our own that we are to be living from day to day.
We are to seek to be ...
