0ur Blessed Lord, we thank You today that the Holy
Spirit of God is available today and that Jesus will
make life radiant, will make life glorious, will
make life wonderful as we yield to Him. And we pray,
Lord, that You will make us to understand today that
the Reality of THYSELF coming through will make the
Word precious and Eternity real. We thank You, Lord,
for the joy, the delight, of being a child of God,
for the right of companionship with Deity, the
delight of a walk with God and Christ and the Holy
Spirit, the delight of living in the light of God
and letting Him LIVE IN US. Oh, our Father! Today
bless every heart listening in. Bless the Christians
to really walk in companionship with Jesus. Bless
the unsaved, dear Lord. Bless our boys fighting in
Viet Nam today; may not a one die without Christ. We
ask this in Jesus' Name and for His sake alone.
Amen.
There are three great demands God makes of every
soul who really wants Him as Friend, every soul who
wants Him to guarantee salvation. These demands are
found in three great passages of Scripture.
God demands BLOOD. Hebrews 9:22, "Without the
shedding of BLOOD there is no remission of sin."
God demands FAITH, or confidence in Himself that
seeks Him with all diligence. Hebrews 11:6, "Without
FAITH it is impossible to please God."
God demands HOLINESS in our daily lives. "For
without HOLINESS no man shall see the Lord." No man
shall get to see the Lord in the future. No man can
go to heaven without this holiness. Hebrews 12:14.
"Without blood, without faith, without holiness," no
man can have God for his Friend. No man can be
forgiven his sins. No man can have the smile of God.
No man can have God for his Companion and his
Caretaker.
Now let us look at these. "Without the shedding of
