FALSE REFUGES! (1 of 2)

Isaiah 28:17

I want to speak to you today on FALSE REFUGES, refuges
of lies as mentioned in Isaiah 28:17. "We have made
LIES our refuge, and under FALSEHOOD have we hid
ourselves. The warning comes from God.

You know, a lying refuge or false refuge is something
people trust in that will fail them in their hour of
danger. A false refuge. Israel was trusting in false

with hell shall not stand. When the overflowing
scourge shall pass through, then ye shall be trodden
down by it."

Notice what THEY said. Then notice what GOD said. I
call your attention to verse 17. "The hail shall sweep
away the refuge of lies and waters shall overflow the
hiding places."

It is like people who hide in a cave on the edge of

fail them in their ...
