LIFE-INFLUENCE and THE DAY OF ACCOUNTING

Revelation 2:8-11
You and I do have INFLUENCE. It is conscious or
unconscious, but you and I are influencing people
everyday. Everybody we touch we are influencing toward
heaven or toward hell, toward God or away from God,
toward Christ or toward Satan. What is YOUR life
doing? What is MY life doing? God help us today to
check up and see if our life influence is for Christ,
influencing people toward the Lord or away from the
Lord.
Let us turn to Revelation 2:8-11, and we are going to
see today how our life influence can be blessed and
how at the end of our journey our life will have been
lived for the Lord and its influence not have been a
hurt to people but a help to people, lifting them
Godwardly! I am not talking simply about almsgiving or
helping people with education or feeding their bodies,
which is important. I am talking about helping them to
CONTACT GOD! The greatest thing you can do today is
not put food in the mouths of people, and I am not
minimizing that, not for an instant. We MUST do that.
But, beloved friends, we have come short unless we
bring people into CONTACT WITH CHRIST. THE BREAD OF
HEAVEN is what people need more than the bread of this
present world. Bread for their souls! Salvation! The
most important thing is to get people in touch with
JESUS CHRIST, Who loves them and died for them.
Whoever they are, their lives can be totally changed
if they will simply surrender their lives to Christ as
Saviour and live for Him.
These are the words of Jesus in Revelation 2:8-11.
"Unto the angel of the Church at Smyrna write, These
things saith the First and the Last, Which was dead
and is alive. I know thy works and tribulation and
poverty, but thou art rich. I know the blasphemy of
those who say they are Jews and are not but are of the
synagogue of Satan. Fear none of those things which
