Romans 8:34

Now, friends, if you have your Bibles, turn with me to
Romans 8:34. We're studying one of the most important
parts of the Word of God, full of some of the most
important thoughts that can come to the human mind. I
need it and have needed it over these many years I
have been a Christian. Everyone needs it because of
the problems of sickness, suffering, pain and death.
The subject is "The Three Loves" of Romans 8:28-39. I
consider these words some of the most important in the
Word of God. They will comfort us on the way and show
us how we can be more than conquerors over anything
that life or death has to offer because WE ARE LOVED
by Christ and God, and WE LOVE CHRIST and God.

There are three loves; the love of a believer for God,
verse 28, then the love of Christ for us human beings,
verse 35, "Who shall separate us from the love of
Christ" Then the love of God for us human beings,
verse 39, "for nothing shall be able to separate us
from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our
Lord." We have already studied the love of a believer
for God. Before we go into the love of Christ I want
to call your attention to the fact that the believer
in verse 28, is providentially, daily, cared for by
God because God is constantly working all things
together for good to those who love Him. He is in all
our circumstances.

Providence means the care of God. Daily we're being
cared for, all the way to Heaven. How wonderful to
know that I have faith in God. My love is a result of
that faith. Because He first loved me, then I know I
am being cared for. I have a Father looking after me
and Jesus tells us in one of the sweetest statements
in all the Bible that the very hairs of my head are
all numbered. Good things all the way. Now that
doesn't mean there won't be sickness, sorrow,
suffering, death, and pain, but it means God is moving
toward a ...
