THE FIERY END OF THE WORLD
Jesse M. Hendley
II Peter 3:10

The recent eruption of Mt. St. Helens in southwest
Washington caught our nation by surprise. The Bible
predicts that the whole world will become another Mt.
St. Helens. Compare these words of men with Scripture:

Words of men: THE DAY THE EARTH BURST WITH FIRE.

The Bible: "The heavens are RESERVED UNTO FIRE." II
Peter 2:7.

Words of men: VOLCANIC ASH SPEWED TEN MILES HIGH. BIG
BLAST HEARD 135 MILES AWAY.

The Bible: "The Day of the Lord will come as a thief,
in which the heavens will pass away, WITH A ROAR. The
elements shall MELT with INTENSE HEAT. The EARTH ALSO
and the works therein shall he BURNED UP." II Peter
3:10.

God destroyed the world before with water. The next
time it will be with FIRE. The Bible says that to have
peace on earth the ungodly will have to go and make
way for a world of righteousness.

their lives and many have never been found, having
disappeared in the holocaust. Utter desolation is
everywhere. Volcanic ash turned distant cities into
darkness at noontime. Ash from molten magma was hurled
up through a vent and out of the exploding top of the
mountain. A volcano cone is simply a cap on God's
plumbing, which holds back the fiery molten flow of
rock in the earth, which is released with tremendous
force. The explosion in this case was set off by an
earthquake. Volcanic mountains are all over this area
and many othe ...
