THE RETURN OF JESUS
Jesse M. Hendley
Revelation 1:7

I want to speak to you on "The Return of Jesus." In
Revelation, chapter 1, verse 7, we read, "BEHOLD HE
COMETH WITH CLOUDS; AND EVERY EYE SHALL SEE HIM, AND
THEY ALSO WHICH PIERCED HIM: AND ALL THE TRIBES OF THE
EARTH SHALL MOURN BECAUSE OF HIM." And John says,
"EVEN SO, AMEN."

Also at the close of the Bible in Revelation 22:20
Jesus says, "BEHOLD, I COME QUICKLY." And John answer-
ing for the church says, "AMEN. EVEN SO COME, LORD
JESUS."

That is the last prayer of the Bible. It should be the
prayer of every child of God that loves Jesus. Every
day we ought to pray, "Lord, come today," because the
Bible itself closes with the prayer for the return of
the Lord Jesus to restore this ruined world. I need
not tell you that this world is going to be miserable
until Jesus comes back again. He is the only Hope for
a better world, a world of peace and harmony.

devil is not bruised now. He is right here in this
city. The devil has not been bruised, and this
utterance of God, the first great prophecy of the
Bible, demands the RETURN of Christ for its
fulfillment. He is coming again, and one of the first
things He will do is bind the devil, cast him into
the bottomless pit, after a thousand years release
him, then destroy him in the lake of fire. Jesus will
take care of the devil.

2. ANGELS certify it. Angels say Christ is coming
again. One day God sent the Angel Gabriel from His
Presence down to a virgin girl in Nazareth. Gabriel
went to Mary and said, "Thou shalt ...
