REMEMBER THE BEMA & THE MARRIAGE SUPPER OF THE LAMB

II Corinthians 5:8-10

What will happen to Christians when we are caught up
to meet the Lord? Evidently two great events: 1.The
Judgment Seat of Christ and 2. The Marriage of the
Lamb.

The Judgment Seat of Christ

In II Corinthians 5:8-10 Paul states that we
believers, as long as we are in the body, are in a
sense "absent from the Lord," which certainly must
mean that we do not enjoy, while on earth, the
nearness to Christ we shall enjoy when we leave
this body and are ushered into His Unveiled
Presence!

He goes on to say that we Christians earnestly
endeavor, before we meet Him, to be "well-pleasing

Rapture when we meet Him He is going to review our

faithful service.

Notice carefully verse 10. "For we must all appear

may receive the things done in his body, according
to that he bath done, whether it be good or bad."
Notice:

(1) It will be mandatory. We MUST. It is NECESSARY

(2) It will be all-inclusive. "We must ALL." Every
Christian will be there.

(3) Our lives will be made visible, an open book.

or known what has been hidden or unknown." Our
invisible Christians lives will be made visible.
What we really are as Christians, and how we have
lived, will be made known. Here, much of our lives
is hidden! Nobody knows our heart attitudes and how
much we really pray, study the Bible, or give to
help Christ's work. But HE knows. God knows it all.

(4) It will be an examination before Christ. The
Greek word is bema, meaning "the court of a judge
or the throne of a king."
