Ezekiel 38

Two recent events have shocked the world, threatened
world peace, and are of vital interest to every human
being on earth. First: the invasion of the American
Embassy and the imprisonment of American hostages in
IRAN. Second: the RUSSIAN invasion of Afghanistan.
These two events are of special significance to every
Christian and student of Bible Prophecy because these
two nations are undoubtedly mentioned in the
Scriptures and are to play a leading role in the
events of THE TIME OF THE END, that period just
preceding THE SECOND COMING OF CHRIST TO EARTH.

against him with a sword, pestilence, blood, great
hailstones, fire and brimstone,” verse 21, 22), and

on Magog," 39:6 and 38:2), resulting in Israel
knowing the Lord (“so the house of Israel shall know
that I am Yahweh, their God from that day forward,"
39.22). Also, many nations will know Him (I will be
known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall
know that I am Yahweh," 38:23). Undoubtedly this
nation, Magog, is Russia, for she comes "out of the
north parts," Ezekiel 38:15. ("North" is a
geographical identification meaning north of Israel.)
