THE JUDGMENT TO COME

Ecclesiastes 12 :13

"Let us hear the conclusion of the matter: Fear God
and keep His commandments, for this is the whole duty
of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment,
with every secret thing, whether it be good or whether
it be evil."

There we have again, as we see through all the pages
of the Word of God, that JUDGMENT is coming upon the
lost. We have tried to warn about the judgment to
come. What an awful time it is going to be for the
lost in that tremendous hour! Don't forget that none
less than the Lord Jesus Christ tells in no uncertain
terms, of the awful judgment to come. Jesus said that
the inhabitants of Sodom and Gomorrah shall stand in
judgment with the men of His generation who rejected
Him. Think of it---the generation that rejected Jesus
Christ and His Testimony as He walked among men on
this earth will stand in judgment with the wicked of
ancient Sodom and Gomorrah. Some rejected Him and some
did not. Some believed, some believed not. Some
yielded, some yielded not. Some came, some did not.
Many turned their backs on Him. Jesus says that in the
Day of Judgment the sinners of Sodom and Gomorrah, who
were sinners exceedingly in the sight of God, shall
stand up in the judgment.

The Lord Jesus said that the Queen of Sheba came long
distances to see the wisdom of God as given in
Solomon, and that she will rise up to condemn the men
today who seek not the Living God and His Christ. The
Queen of Sheba traveled long distances with great
inconvenience in order that she might learn of God's
movement upon this wise man Solomon. And yet, here was
a greater than Solomon. The Queen of Sheba will rise
up in judgment and condemn the men of this generation
who turn their backs on the Lord Jesus.
