TRIBULATION IS COMING

Judges 10:1-14
In Judges, chapter 10, verse 14, we have our text for
today. I want to read you the story that you might
review the background. Beginning with verse 1 of
chapter 10: (read text)
GO AND CRY UNTO THE GODS, WHICH YE HAVE CHOSEN AND LET
THEM DELIVER YOU IN THE TIME OF YOUR TRIBULATION.
There are three things I want to call your attention
to. First of all, there is coming a time of
tribulation for those who forsake God. The time is
coming! We read here, "They FORSOOK THE LORD and
SERVED HIM NOT and DID EVIL IN THE SIGHT OF THE LORD.
How many people are in that condition today? Not
living evil lives in the sight of the world, no. Not
in the sight, even, of a backslidden church. They live
evil lives IN THE SIGHT OF THE LORD. How do I know
that? Anything in your life that is contrary to the
Word of the Lord is EVIL IN HIS SIGHT. And you are
living your life in the sight of the Lord. GOD is
looking on your life. GOD sees all you do and hears
all you say, and God is writing it all down in books
for the Judgment Day. You can't avoid it!
You can turn your mind away from the fact of it. You
don't have to listen to a preacher of the Gospel. You
don't have to listen to God. You don't have to listen
to the Word. But, one day, your time of tribulation is
coming, and it will be too late, then. The time of
tribulation is coming to you who are forgetting God.
It is coming as sure as you live. The time is coming
when you ARE going to think about God! The time is
coming when you will gnash your teeth and wish you had
settled things with God. You will wish you had
listened to preachers who loved your soul, instead of
to somebody who patted you on the back and told you,
you were all right when you knew down in your heart
you were not right with God! There is evil in your
life. You have forsaken the Lord your God. You have
stopped serving Him.
