A NEW HEAVEN

Revelation 21:1-5
In Revelation, Chapter 21, verses 1 through 5, we
read: "And I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the
first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and
there was no more sea. And I, John, saw the Holy City,
the new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of Heaven,
prepared as a bride adorned for her husband, and I
heard a great voice out of Heaven saying, Behold the
tabernacle of God is with men and they shall be His
people and God Himself shall be with them and be their
God, and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes
and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow nor
crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the
former things are passed away. And He that sat upon
the throne said, behold I make all things new, and He
said unto me, write, for these words are true and
faithful."
I want to speak now on Heaven. The years are rapidly
flying, my friends. Think; eighty years from now---not
one who is listening to me will be upon this earth. As
Moses ascended up the Mount and had a glimpse of the
Promised Land, given him by God, so I want us to
ascend the Mount of Divine Revelation and look at the
last two chapters of this Book to see the future for
the people of God. Let us look at the everlasting
Heaven, which belongs to every Believer. O, friends,
if you and I shall get that vision we will never have
it fade from our faces. On the wall of a little chapel
a man read these words: "Carry the morning in your
faces." You and I ought to be carrying Heaven in our
faces! We are set toward the city of God and it will
not be long until we will be there. I spoke on Heaven
once and an elderly man came to me with tears in his
eyes, and said, "Preacher, you lifted me to Heaven
today." It will not be long before the dear man will
be in Heaven.
Now what do we see? What things are NOT in Heaven?
