THE BATTLE BETWEEN SUPERNATURALISM AND NATURALISM

It is wonderful to know the Lord Jesus Christ in
these days of turmoil and distress. I listened to one
candidate for the Presidency of the United States
when he made the statement, "At this time facing
America is the question, "Will the world be half-
slave and half-free or will the world be destroyed?"
The candidate had no answer except to say, "We are
making no promises that we can bring about peace and
freedom, but we will say that we will try to do our
best. It will take all of us together WORKING to do
it." That's very good and very humble; the only
trouble is the Bible says that MEN ALL TOGETHER will
never be able to work it out. The only hope is in the
Return of the Lord Jesus Christ. HE is the only One
who can handle the situation! HE is the only One Who
can unite the nations. He is going to have to do it
with a rod of iron.

Beloved, as long as the majority of the people on
earth are UNCONVERTED, there can BE NO PEACE. "There
is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked." God's Word
says, "Cease Ye from man, whose breath is in his
nostrils." They have left GOD OUT, you see. In the
Bible, God has given us the instruction to the way of
peace. It is through Jesus. And any nation who
leaves out Jesus Christ will not have any peace. The
Bible says that the whole question is religious the
whole matter is spiritual. We wouldn't be in the mess
we are in if we walked with God! We wouldn't be in
the mess we're in if we received Jesus into our
hearts, and if His love filled our hearts. If the
love of God was in every man's heart, we wouldn't
have the awful spectacle of man's hand against his
brother, and murder and slaughter over the face of
the earth. The United Nations meet and discuss
"Peace," but even there, there is no peace and
agreement.
