WILL THERE BE ANY STARS IN MY CROWN?

II Timothy 4:6

Timothy 4:6 Paul says, "I am already being offered and
the time of my departure is come. I have fought the
good fight. I have finished the course. I have kept
the faith. Hence forth there is laid up for me the
crown of righteousness which, the Lord, the righteous
judge, shall give me that day and not to me only, but
to all them also that have loved His appearing."
A crown awaiting Paul. Friends, will there be any
stars in our crowns? Oh, that God will revive us all
that we might have victory in the name of Jesus and
serve Him well! But the only thing that is going to
produce real revival and assure of stars in our crown
will be EARNEST SERVICE. To serve earnestly, there
must be revival in our own hearts. We must confess our
sins and be right with God as we serve.
Recently I went to a certain place for an evangelistic
campaign. I arrived there on a Saturday afternoon and
found the people in prayer, afternoon and night. They
began at twelve noon on Saturday and went on praying
till twelve midnight. They were praying for revival,
confessing their sins, and supplicating God for the
community to have a revival. I need not tell you that
God poured out His Spirit upon that place and gave
revival such as they had never seen before! At that
Saturday prayer meeting, leaders were assigned. The
leader would open with the Word of God, have
testimonies among the people, and then prayer was
offered as they knelt in the Presence of the Lord.
People came, stayed as long as they were able to stay,
prayed and then went back to their homes. That
continued for twelve hours. I was in that prayer
meeting that night, and I say to you, that when people
got up from their knees, they were burdened for souls.
There were tears of repentance on the part of God's
people. It wasn't a large group. Revivals ...
