Series: Flesh & Blood

Text: Mark 14:32-43
So I wanna talk to you today about the power of staying put, but the power of staying in a place that God's put you, even though it may not be a place that you're particularly enjoying. I was thinking about that this past week. We had all that snow. Many people were happy about all the snow. All right, you're my people.
Love you. How many people are like so over? You're done with winter. Okay. You're not my people, but I love you. It's okay. I love it. Now here's what I was going for.
Okay. She had done that a bunch of times. That's exactly what I was trying to capture. That's what I was going for. That is not what I got. This is what I got. Okay. And the reason that's why I got what I got was 'cause she wouldn't stay put, I kept, I'd get her up there and she'd cop the pose and I'd step back and she'd do that.
And it's just not as powerful. Can we agree on that? It's just not as powerful. A picture is what I was going for and it's caused you wouldn't stay put. So I wanna talk to you about the power of staying put. Of staying in those places that God's put us, that maybe we're not necessarily enjoying, but God's gonna do something really good if we'll just stay put.
And to do that, I wanna take you to passage that God has been using to teach me about the power of staying put. And you're gonna find it in Mark chapter 14, verse 32. So if you wanna follow along, we're gonna be in Mark 14 starti ...
