So a couple years ago, I was in my shop and I got something in my eye. If you've ever gotten something in your eye, like I, when it happened I suddenly realized why Jesus said that if your eye is healthy, your whole body is healthy, because if your eye is hurting, it's remarkable that that little part of your body basically runs everything else.
I don't think of myself as a wimp, but like it just hurt and you're not supposed to rub it. So I went inside and I irrigated. I did all things supposed to do, but it just didn't stop hurting. And I kept looking and I couldn't see anything. And I was like, how? How is something that I cannot see? So unbelievably painful.
How is something I can't see causing so much suffering? And I just, I kept trying to wash it out. I couldn't get rid of it and clutter couldn't see anything. So eventually we decided I gotta go to the emergency room. So she sent me to the emergency room. I talked to the doctor and she put some dye on my eye, and then she's shown some kinda light in there.
She goes, okay, the good news is you got rid of whatever went in there. She said, the bad news is you cut your eye. And I was like, okay. That's the worst thing I've ever heard. Like all kind of heebie-jeebies inside. And I was trying to lighten the mood a little bit. So I said, it's like it's gonna heal, right?
She goes, yeah, I go, and it's not gonna leave a scar, right? And she goes probably not. And I went, okay, that is not as much confidence as I was expecting. I, I didn't even know you and I said, you can scar your eye. And she goes, oh yeah, it happens all the time. Did not need to know that. I said, really?
She goes, yeah, there's something called corneal scarring. You can actually cut your eye and it just scars up. And I said what happens when that happens? She goes, oh, it's bad. She goes, yeah, it's, it. It'll definitely affect th ...
