Welcome to Mission Hill. So good to have you with us today as we begin a new year together as a church. And as we begin this new year, I'm gonna ask you a question. I, this might seem like a little bit of a strange question, but just stick with me for a second. Here's the question I want you to think about today.
What's the source of your paralysis? What's the source of your paralysis? And of course, I'm not talking physical paralysis. I know most of you walked in here. Or if you're joining us online, you walked into your living room and brought Mission Hills up on your tv. I'm talking about spiritual paralysis.
I'm talking about those places that we sometimes feel stuck. Anybody ever experienced that? If that's not you, by the way, if if you're like, Hey, my marriage and, my, my relationship with God and my relationship with everybody in my life and my living on mission, everything's going so well.
I'm just making so much progress in every area of my life. If that's. You then you can just leave right now. Okay? Because this is not for you. This is for the rest of us that sometimes feel stuck. And if that's you, why don't you just find somebody else? You go. Sometimes I feel stuck. Yeah, spiritual paralysis.
I think it's something we all experience at one time or another, but sometimes it can be tricky to figure out why it's happening. That's why I asked the question. What's the source of your paralysis? 'cause sometimes you can sneak up on this. I was climbing several years ago, CLE and I had gone climbing and I remember it vividly.
It was the first time we went climbing after our daughter was born and she was asleep in one of those, backpack carriers and they, we'd put her at the bottom of the route and she was just zonked out. And so I was climbing, it was a rod I'd climbed a bunch of times and I remember everything about it vividly.
