A Day of Victory
- "He is not here, but has risen!" (Luke 24:5-6)
- Jesus has conquered sin, death, and the grave!
- We do not serve a dead God-He is alive!

- Turn to your neighbor and declare: "He is Risen!"
- What the enemy meant for evil, God turned for good
- Jesus provided the way for us to reconnect with the Father
II. MILK: JESUS' RESURRECTION IS EVIDENCE OF A DEFEATED DEATH
A. The Power of the Third Day
- The disciples experienced a tragic loss on Friday
- Scattered, overwhelmed, hopeless-but Sunday was coming!
- The women went to the tomb and found the stone rolled away (Luke 24:1-3)
B. Death Has Been Swallowed in Victory (1 Corinthians 15:54-57)
- Paul declares the final defeat of death:
- "O death, where is your sting? O grave, where is your victory?"
- Death no longer holds power over those in Christ
C. The Authority of Jesus Over Death
- Jesus took our place in:
- The Cross
- The Tomb
- The Resurrection
- His resurrection secured our victory over death
D. The Enemy Fled in Defeat (Deuteronomy 28:7)
- Just as darkness fled from the tomb, the enemy must flee before the power of Christ!
- The same power that raised Jesus now lives in us!

- What areas of your life still feel trapped in "Friday" despair?

- No longer bound by sin-we are freed by grace!
