Introduction:
We are studying through the book of Proverbs to gain wise words of wisdom! This is part two of last week's message, and it tells us how to live life successfully! These are random messages of knowledge that will help us to grow in our relationship with God and with man! With that in mind, let us jump in and learn from the teachings of God through the great King Solomon!
Body:
20 Hear counsel, and receive instruction, that thou mayest be wise in thy latter end.
Here is the heart of the whole Book of Proverbs. We are to get God's wisdom while we can, and it will pay off in big ways in the future! What you learn today will help you in many ways tomorrow! Make sure you are listening intelligently to the wise advice from godly teachers, and from God's Word, the Bible! It will help you to grow and to become a better Christian to read and heed the Word of God! When you get instruction and wisdom it makes you wise the remainder of your life!
21 There are many devices in a man's heart; nevertheless the counsel of the LORD, that shall stand.
Man tries to plan out his life, but God is the one who brings it to pass! We should go to God and ask Him what He wants, for He is the one who can fulfill the desires of the heart according to what He wants in our lives! God has a perfect will for every person who has ever lived, and it is our responsibility to follow it on a daily basis!
