Text: Matthew 28:19-20
- Last week, we began a new sermon series called, This Is Church! It's a series on church membership. This series is leading up to something BIG. Next Sunday, you will have an opportunity to join our church.
- I know that many of you have been through our Discover Second Class, you've signed the church covenant, and you've come down front to join. But believe it or not, we have folks that have been coming to Second for years and have never been through our membership class. And, we've got a lot of folks that have come through our class and never turned in their covenants. We have a lot of people who have

- So, we're going to go through this together. We'll walk through the importance of church membership, why you should join a church, and what steps you can take to partner with us in ministry and mission.

If you've been here a long time but just haven't joined. And those who have been longtime members and supporters of Second Baptist Church.
