- Good morning to everyone and believe it or not, you have made it to the end of our 21 days of prayer and fasting! Something tells me that there is going to be some kind of spike in caffeinated drink consumption, fried food intake, and in this section right of here (to my left) social media usage is going to see somewhat of a spike in the greater Houston County area. I pray that these 21 days has been just what each of us needed to start this new year off fixed and focused on the Lord. There have probably been some moments of stretching (which probably sounded like groaning or complaining) and some moments when we thought we might not endure these 21 days and, if we are being honest, without the strength of the Lord, our endurance would not be enough. God has been so good and so faithful. It has been so amazing to see how dedicated you all have been during your own specific 21 day fast. Just the past weekend, on our high school Winter Retreat, it was so cool to see young people stick to their 21-day fast (describe what we witnessed) and be faithful to the Lord even when it would have been more convenient to simply push pause and pick back up once we returned home. Dedicated to what the Lord has called them to do. Special to see, folks.

- Note*** Give a verbal example of each of these in real life** As we reach the end of our 21 days of prayer and fasting, I couldn't help but think that when we see things coming to an end, we meet the end either with anticipation for what is to come, sadness because something is over, or uneasiness because we're not real sure what is around the next turn. This 21-day journey of prayer and fasting may have a date in which it ends but, friends this is just the beginning of what God has in store for us this year.
