- Last year was an incredible year of ministry for our church. God blessed in so many ways. We saw growth in almost every measurable area of our church. I'm so thankful for all that God has done. But I'll tell you one reason why I believe it was such a great year of ministry. I think it's because the way we started the year.

- If you remember, we began our year with 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting. We took some special time to focus our minds and hearts on the Lord. We spent time in corporate prayer. And we focused on diving deeper and climbing higher in our relationship with the Lord. So this year, we'll begin 2025 with a new series called Elevate: 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting.

- To call this a sermon series is almost not quite enough. Because it's so much more than that. Over these next 21 days, I'm going to ask every one of you to participate in multiple ways. I want you to pray, I want you to fast, I want you to commit to be here each Sunday and participate. I believe God has some pretty incredible things in store for us.

- When you came in, you probably noticed the prayer and fasting guides in the lobby. We wrote devotions, designed these books, and printed them for you. We want everyone to take a book and use it over these next 21 days. There's a fasting guide, devotions written by members of our team, recommended reading, and so much more.

- *I know that prayer and fasting can be scary topics. For a Baptist that loves to eat, fasting can be a little intimidating. Someone said, "Fasting is voluntarily going without food - or any other regularly enjoyed, good gift from God - for the sake of some spiritual purpose. It is markedly countercultural in our consumerist society...*1

- *Fasting is like rebooting a computer. Over time, just as background programs on a computer run unnoticed, slowing down its performance, the same can happ ...
