INTRODUCTION: Take your Bibles and turn with me to Joshua chapter 1.

This morning, I want to pick up our series of studies on the victorious Christian life entitled "Living Above." These are "lessons for living in victory."

We started this series by learning How to Live Above what you Undergo. And in that message, we saw -

- When you were born again, you were born to win.

- The victorious Christian life is His life shared by us, and it's our life captured by Him.

- God is the One who gives us the power and the ability to live the victorious Christian life.

We spent some time learning what it means and what it looks like to be all in for Jesus.

And I told you last week, despite all the trouble and turmoil we see in the world today, these are the greatest days to be a Christian and be All In for Jesus in the history of the world.

This morning, I want us to see what the Bible says about "The Power of Meditation."

Now, when you hear the word "meditation," don't get the picture of the Kung Fu Panda sitting cross-legged, with his eyes closed, humming - "Hmmmmmmm!"

That's not the kind of meditation we'll be thinking and talking about this morning.

Christian meditation is -

- Reading the Word of God,

- Processing what God has said,

- Focusing your mind on it,

- Then, let it sink deep into your heart until it affects your very being.

Christian meditation is the opposite of Eastern meditation.

It's not emptying your mind and thinking about nothing.

It's filling your mind with Scripture and thinking, focusing, and praying over what God says to you through His word.
