INTRODUCTION:

Take your Bibles this morning and turn to 1 Chronicles chapter 12. Last Sunday morning, we began a new series of studies titled "Living Above: Lessons for Living in Victory." We are looking at what it means and how you can live above what you undergo.

QUOTE: In the first chapter of Mark Batterson's book, "All In," Batterson challenges us with a thought-provoking statement. Listen to it: "Jesus didn't die to keep us safe. He died to make us dangerous. Faithfulness is not holding the fort. It's storming the gates of hell. The will of God is not an insurance plan. It's a daring plan. The complete surrender of your life to the cause of Christ isn't radical. It's normal. It's time to quit living as if the purpose of life is to arrive safely at death. It's time to go all in and all out for the All in All."

This morning, I want us to see what it means to be "All in for Jesus."

Look in chapter 12, beginning in verse 1, and let me read some selected verses from this important and insightful chapter to get our hearts and minds going in the same direction.

1 Chronicles 12:1-3, 8, 14-18, 23-26, 38, "Now these were the men who came to David at Ziklag while he was still a fugitive from Saul the son of Kish; and they were among the mighty men, helpers in the war, 2 armed with bows, using both the right hand and the left in hurling stones and shooting arrows with the bow.
