We opened this New Year with prayer, fasting and some pretty incredible fresh vision as we launched our building campaign with theme of "make room/build legacy" last week.
I feel it's the season to build.
Building in the natural and building in the spiritual...
The season of building people, marriages, family, making room & building legacy. I want us to make room for God...And make room for people.
Make room for people in your hearts, in your homes, in new and fresh relationships.
Make room to coach, disciple, care...Make room as you reach out to your neighbor, reach out our community
A couple of weeks ago I asked you the question:
What will you build in 2025?
What needs remodeled in 2025? What needs tearing down in 2025?
I think it's important that we understand that building in the natural as well as the spiritual... is important.
To many of us, building what is ahead of us in the natural is going to require faith. Stretch our faith.
A mentor pastor of mine told me the story of how years ago he sat in the middle of his Elder team and asked the question.
"When was the last time we made a decision that required faith?"
To some, rebuilding your family, relationships, finances, maybe even your physical and emotional health will take some faith...trust..leaning into God
Every building has different components that come together.
Foundations, framing, electrical, plumbing....(how important is plumbing right? You can have a beautiful home on the inside and out but if the lights don't come on and toilets don't flush..not much fun!)
