Heaven isn't just about escaping this world; it's about restoring it-making it new in a way that's better than we can imagine.
Intro:
When you hear the word "heaven," what comes to mind? Is it an image of fluffy clouds and pearly gates? A place of peace and joy? Or maybe... something entirely different?
Pew Research surveyed Americans in which "seven-in-ten Americans believe in heaven (71%), and six-in-ten believe in hell (61%)." Here's the head-scratcher only about half of Jews believe in heaven and 2-in-ten believe in hell.
The majority of people responded that heaven will be a place where they are free from suffering, reunited with loved ones who have already passed, meet with God, and perfect healthy bodies. Almost a majority of people responded that they will reunited with pets and animals they knew on earth, along with seeing what is happening on earth and becoming angels.
But then the answers get interesting. Some believe they'll be able to see what's happening on earth while they're in heaven, maybe keeping an eye on their family. Others think they'll become angels, maybe wings and halos, watching over the world. Even a few people said they believe they'll be able to leave heaven if it doesn't meet their expectations, including seeing if they can stop existing. Can you imagine? As if heaven is some sort of trial period-Try it for 30 days, and if you're not satisfied, you stop existing?!

With so many different ideas about heaven, it's easy to get caught up in speculation or imagine it as some distant, far-off place that only matters when we die. But what if heaven isn't just some abstract 'someday' concept? It's clear there's a lot of confusion and varying ideas about what heaven will be like.
