Questions. Funny, never-ending, annoying questions. If you have ever had or been around little children, you have heard a myriad of questions. Why does it rain? Why is the sun in the sky? Why is the water wet? Why is the sky blue? Why do birds fly? Had enough? They go on and on. One thing of note. Is that asking questions is a good thing, it's the way we learn and develop (my kids should be geniuses). How we answer them may help or hurt their development.

Our Lord is not afraid of questions, He invites questions. We can be thankful that our Lord KNOWS the answers to ALL questions. Some questions we should ask the Lord are "Why am I here," "What plans do you have for me," or "What is it that you want me to do?" This is a few of the questions we can ask the Lord and expect a solid answer to. Sadly, there are people who believe they KNOW the answers to life's questions, but to talk with them is to discover they don't even know the questions.

We have read about a man who the Bible says was 'an expert in the law' (we'll talk more about him later). He's a person that was expected to know and have answers (the people of that day thought he did). Jesus reveals that this 'expert' have known the right questions, but because he depended so much on 'self' he understand in light of eternity. Many times we are all in this same basket. As we look at this story, we will unpack Four of Life's Important questions.
