Happy Mother's Day to all of our moms. In many homes it is the Mom who is quoting the Bible, sharing the gospel... in many homes Dad is absent, lost, or immature. So thank you to godly Moms who love the Bible and share it with your children. Mom's are critical to the family unit and nothing is more important in the life of your children than the sowing of the Word of God, because it is the Spirit of God uses the Word of God to transform people. The Word is the primary tool of the Spirit in the life of the believer. If you are a Christ follower today if you are to become more like Christ that will happen through interaction with the Word of God.

2 Cor. 3:18- And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.

1 Peter 2:2- Like newborn infants, long for the pure spiritual milk, that by it you may grow up into salvation

The Word of God plays a critical role in our spiritual growth and transformation. There is a direct correlation to Bible intake and application to spiritual growth.

Rick Warren tells the story of a converted cannibal from an island in the South Seas. He says the cannibal was sitting by a big pot reading the Word of God, the Bible, when an anthropologist came to him and asked him what he was doing.
